I am not a humourless saddo looking around for something to be offended by, but I thought your comment about "going off like a pager" was in very poor taste. Just because it happened in Beirut and was aimed at a reprehensible outfit doesn't make it acceptable.
I had thought that SPAD’s were government employees and that the pay scales were based on competence, experience and aptitude. Why then are Labour SPAD’s paid less than those who advised Tory MPs?
