I always worry that these polls extrapolate from a limited sample and underestimate - in particular - the 'shy Tories'. Unpleasant premonitions of 1964 rather than 1997. FPTP could give unexpected results if Labour votes are siphoned off by Lib-Dem and Green while one-nation Conservatives hold their nose and vote anyway - despite the chaotic record - because Reform disgusts them more.
Kind of getting a bit bored with all this speculative journalism. Labour beyond more than likely to win, so let's look for any angle that we can continue to wang on about.
